A Big Success!


A huge Thank You to all the golfers who played in this year’s Chris Groom Memorial Golf Tournament on October 10, 2011 at Wildwood Green Golf Club in Raleigh, North Carolina.  The weather was perfect (the golfing was not!!) and everyone had a great time in support of the Chris Groom Memorial Fund.

The success of this year’s tournament will allow my wife, Suzanne, and I to help hundreds more children this winter and holiday season.

We’re already working on making next year’s event bigger and better.  Thank you all for your participation!

A special recognition goes to Chef Michelle Cash of Raleigh who cooked and donated the entire dinner after the tournament.  Everyone enjoyed the delicious salad, homemade chicken parmesan, sausage and peppers, and a wonderful pasta dish.  This was followed by an amazing cake that was decorated with the Chris Groom Memorial Golf Tournament logo.
